Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation.
* Develop and implement an innovative and seasonal cocktail menu that enhances the overall guest experience.
* Recruit, train, and manage bar staff to maintain exceptional service levels, conducting regular performance reviews and offering growth opportunities.
* Monitor inventory levels, manage stock control, and place orders to ensure the bar is well-stocked with high-quality products.
* Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations within the bar.
* Create and implement training programs for staff on drink preparation, customer service, and product knowledge.
* Assist with financial management tasks including budgeting, revenue tracking, and identifying cost-effective measures.
* Foster positive relationships with guests to enhance their experience and encourage repeat visits.
* Collaborate closely with other departments to coordinate bar services for events and functions.
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging beverage trends to innovate and elevate the bar offerings.
* Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in upscale establishments, preferably within the hospitality sector.
* Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and customer service excellence.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills with a focus on staff development and training.
* Demonstrated ability to manage inventory and control costs effectively.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with guests and staff alike.
* A proactive problem solver with a strong ability to handle high-pressure situations.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the operational requirements of the bar.
* Relevant certifications in bartending, mixology, or beverage management are advantageous.
