Locum Lead Lawyer - Commercial/Corporate - Hybrid – Midlands Based Local Authority
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are seeking an experienced Locum Lead Lawyer to join a well-regarded Local Authority on a locum basis.
The Role:
* Position: Locum Lead Lawyer - Commercial/Corporate
* Duration: Initial 3-month basis, with the potential for extension
* Location: Hybrid, 1-2 office days per week
* Hours: Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing strategic legal guidance on Commercial matters
* Negotiating and drafting high-level commercial agreements
* Collaborating with senior stakeholders across the council and external partners
* Managing colleagues and junior staff members
About you:
* Managerial experience
* Ability to attend the office 1-2 days per week
* A highly experienced Principal Commercial Lawyer
* Experience in local government or public sector work is highly desirable
