XPO Logistics are looking for an Operations Supervisor for our Saint Gobain Contract in Robertsbridge. This is your opportunity to take charge of a busy and unique operation. We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum dpendant on experience and shift. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
1. Take overall responsibility for the day to day running of the late site and Transport operation, including the relationship with the customer.
2. Drive operational compliance and maintain Health and Safety standards.
3. Ensure that all KPIs are hit and meet the customer SLAs
4. Get involved in HR activity, including incident investigations, disciplinaries and performance management.
5. Maintain stock file accuracy through both manual and automated WMS.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
6. A strong, demonstrable background in warehouse management
7. Ideally, you’ll have worked in a 3PL environment and understand customer needs
8. Practical exposure to WMS systems and Microsoft.
9. Experience of managing performance in a leadership role.
10. CPC Qualification desirable but not essential.
11. SAP knowledge and application desirable but not essential.
