To work for Synectics you must hold a Security Check (SC) clearance. Synectics will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not already have this in place. Because of the nature of the work, you must also hold UK nationality or meet the 5‑year minimum residency criteria.
Role Overview
As part of a small team of Software Engineers you will support, maintain and grow our web applications and services aimed at reducing fraud, error and debt in the Public Sector. Our team is responsible for saving over £2 Bn of public money and we are looking for someone passionate about making a difference.

About You

Desired Technical Requirements
* Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, AJAX, jQuery
* Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, MVC, Web Forms
* Good knowledge of Design Patterns and Clean Code
* Good knowledge of Web architecture:
o Client‑server model
o Three‑tier model
o Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA)
o Micro Services
* Knowledge of web servers:
o IIS
o Apache
o Nginx
* Knowledge SQL/T‑SQL, writing queries, stored procedures, views.
* Knowledge of SSIS and/or SSRS.
* Knowledge of deployment processes (CI/CD).
* Knowledge of testing:
o TDD
o Unit Tests
o NUnit
* Knowledge of cloud technologies
* Proficient user of MS Office Software.
* Keen interest in exploring new technologies.
