About the Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll oversee major construction projects, guiding clients and project teams from concept to completion. Your commercial insight and strategic advice will be key to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct feasibility studies and draft procurement reports
* Deliver detailed cost planning and present estimates to clients
* Lead tendering and procurement processes, including managing pre-qualification
* Monitor and control post-contract cost variances and change processes
* Perform cost checks and valuations on large-scale projects
* Prepare and present monthly cost reports
* Contribute to value engineering and final account negotiations
* Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants across all project stages

Candidate Requirements
* 5-10 years of Quantity Surveyor experience (PQS or contractor background)
* Proven in estimating and cost planning
* Strong understanding of construction practices and stakeholder value
* Knowledge of MMC, JCT, and NEC contracts
* Experience in full lifecycle cost management
* Professional qualification (RICS or equivalent preferred)
* Degree or HNC in a related field
* Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive and collaborative attitude
