Job objectives and responsibilities
The Project Manager will be responsible for contributing to the management and delivery of the transformation project for the LSBU account across the Security and Front of House division, valued at C£2.5 million per annum. The Transformation Project Manager will lead the project, focusing on reducing Mitie headcount across Security and Front of House while maintaining operational excellence and compliance. The role requires attention to detail and strict time management to ensure project completion by October 2025. The manager will collaborate with the LSBU Account Management Team, the Signature Front of House management team, and the Regional Security Management Team to create, monitor, and deliver the project, including account restructuring, HR consultations, cost management, compliance with SIA licensing, and scheduled training for transformation and restructuring. The Project Manager must foster a collaborative approach across all service lines to ensure a ‘One Mitie’ approach.
Main duties
1. Work autonomously with leadership and drive to deliver project goals.
2. Maintain strong communication with the LSBU account management team.
3. Manage mobilisation, transformation, and account plans within budget.
4. Share transformation timelines regularly with stakeholders to meet deadlines.
5. Understand project delivery within the education sector, including sector-specific challenges and regulations.
6. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Drive business growth and revenue targets in key accounts.
8. Apply analytical and problem-solving skills strategically.
9. Work proactively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
10. Travel as needed to meet stakeholders and attend meetings across 9 LSBU sites in London.
11. Ensure compliance on Mitie sites through policies and procedures.
12. Oversee governance from conception to completion.
13. Promote a team ethic with effective problem-solving and decision-making.
14. Influence and negotiate with stakeholders, suppliers, and leaders.
15. Ensure accountability among action owners to adhere to timelines.
16. Champion the pillars of H&S, People, Commercial, and Quality.
