Job Title: Team LeaderA key role in leading and managing teams of administrators and clinicians to deliver NHS school-aged vaccination programmes on time and achieve results in line with contract specifications.Job Responsibilities:The postholder will be responsible for:Preparing school calendars for immunisation sessions and catch-up clinics.Providing a rota to cover all administrators and nurses, at least 8 weeks in advance, in accordance with relevant SOPs.Maintaining and managing the rota to reflect any changes in staffing.Arranging emergency cover for administrative and clinical staff in the event of absence or sickness.Managing consent form triaging in line with Immunisation Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).Responsible for team budgets and forecasting templates in accordance with KPIs.Continuous review of uptake figures is mandatory.Implementing change rapidly in collaboration with SMT.Responsible for maintaining the cold chain, ordering, and arranging transport of vaccinations to site.Ensuring all team members are well-trained and adhere to protocol.Checking anaphylaxis kits and arranging replacement if required one month before expiry.Ordering and maintaining supplies to ensure nurses can replenish cases for school sessions in line with VUK guidance.Managing the onboarding of new recruits as directed by the Programme Manager and the recruitment team, following processes and protocols at all times.Supporting Programme Manager with their workload and undertaking delegated duties where necessary.Collaborating with schools and Programme Manager where uptake is low to implement relevant improvement plans and strategies agreed upon.Developing improvement plans on an annual basis or as and when required.Leading and managing teams, including performance absence, etc.Facilitating health promotion activities alongside the clinical team.Attending and undertaking quality audits in schools, gaining feedback from all stakeholders after each session.Liaising with the Training team to ensure all health and safety requirements are met.Ensuring staff work towards company goals and objectives.Familiar with Patient Group Directives (PGDs) for immunisations and ensuring staff have access to a copy in their cases and all clinical staff sign the master copy.Undertaking other duties commensurate with the level of this position.Complying with Company policies & procedures.
