Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and well‑organised Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker/Administrator to join our dedicated Stoma Care team. This dual‑role position combines direct patient support with essential administrative responsibilities, contributing to the smooth and effective delivery of high quality care.
Responsibilities
* Provide stoma care support to patients on the ward and in clinical areas under the guidance of the Stoma Care Nursing Team.
* Act as a point of contact for stoma patients, relatives and health care professionals via face‑to‑face contact, phone, email and other channels.
* Book and confirm patient appointments and prepare CNS workload for clinic.
* Order stock for the department and support the team with general office tasks.
* Collect and audit data for service improvement.
* Answer and triage incoming telephone calls in a professional and timely manner.
