An ambitious and fast-growing SME based in Bradford is seeking a Financial Controller to support the Financial Director during an exciting period of rapid growth. This is a key role within the finance function, offering the opportunity to shape processes, improve reporting, and introduce forward-looking financial insight to support strategic decision-making.
This role would suit a hands-on, proactive accountant who enjoys building structure, improving MI, and partnering with the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Financial Director in the day-to-day running of the finance function
* Lead and improve budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning processes
* Produce timely and insightful monthly management accounts
* Develop and enhance management information (MI) to provide forward-looking, commercial insight
* Improve financial reporting, controls and processes in line with a growing SME environment
* Provide analysis and commentary to support business performance and growth initiatives
* Oversee balance sheet integrity and statutory compliance
* Work closely with operational and commercial teams to drive financial understanding
