Assistant Client Manager

Role Responsibilities
* Manage a client portfolio and review year-end accounts for companies, partnerships, and sole traders
* Review corporation tax computations and VAT returns across different VAT schemes
* Prepare and review management accounts to a high standard
* Handle technical queries and software-related support for clients
* Support junior staff through training, supervision, and workflow planning
* Provide excellent client service and collaborate closely with senior management
* Assist partners with ad-hoc project work and advisory support

Candidate Requirements
* ACA/ACCA qualified with 1-2 years post-qualification experience
* Minimum of 3 years working in a practice setting
* Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
* Familiarity with software like CCH, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Alphatax is beneficial
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work under pressure
* Strong Excel and general IT skills
* A genuine team player with leadership potential
