We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Commercial Gas Engineer for a temp-to-perm role with a leading UK nationwide company. You will be providing site-based solutions for installation, service, repair, and maintenance to building services-related customer needs, including planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and minor works.
Responsibilities
* Perform installation, service, repair, and maintenance work in compliance with industry standards and Approved Codes of Practice.
* Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs within set timescales.
* Install new heating systems and system improvements.
* Ensure timely completion of all work and report any exceptions.
* Work across multiple sectors, including schools, residential, and commercial properties.
* Cover regions including Oxford, Birmingham, and Southampton, with 1 day per week working away (hotel and food allowance provided).
Requirements
* Full Commercial ACS
* Commercial Gas/Safety qualifications.
* Knowledge of water hygiene and legionella regulations.
Compensation
* Temp Phase (first 12 weeks):
* £31-£35 per hour
* Hotel and food allowance for the weekly working‑away day
* Tools provided
* Permanent Opportunity (after 12 weeks):
* Base salary up to £50,000 per annum
