* Typical working hours: 7am‑5:30pm, with two days per week working from home handling remote support.
* On‑call rota: One weekend per month (paid as overtime).
About the Job
* As an AV/Smart Home Service Engineer you'll provide remote and on‑site support, maintain system quality, and ensure excellent client service.
* You’ll also contribute to help desk processes, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Respond to support tickets promptly, providing remote and on‑site solutions.
* Ensure project quality assurance and smooth client onboarding.
* Maintain detailed and accurate documentation, with thorough follow‑up on all cases.
* Support process improvements and actively contribute in team meetings.
About You
* Experience in AV, home automation, or smart home service / similar
* Control4, AV/video matrices, and IP networking (ideal but not essential)
* Strong diagnostic, problem‑solving, and client‑facing skills.
* Full, clean UK driving licence; willing to travel between client sites.
* Detail‑oriented, proactive, and a positive, collaborative team player.
* Any knowledge of KNX, Lutron, Crestron, OvrC, or other home automation systems is a plus
