Prospero Teaching is currently seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a warm, welcoming SEN school in Lyndhurst, Hampshire on a part-time basis-just Tuesdays and Fridays.
The school provides tailored education for pupils aged 5-19 years on the Autism Spectrum, and has been described as a truly lovely environment to work in.
Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant - Tuesdays and Fridays Only Location: Lyndhurst, Hampshire Minimum Hourly Rate: 13.96/hour Term-Time Only (39 Weeks)
Key Details:
* Working Days: Tuesdays (08:30-16:30) & Fridays (08:30-15:00)
* Accessible via public transport
* Full days only; flexible options considered
Responsibilities:
* Supporting students during lessons and throughout the school day
* Assisting with both group and individual learning programmes
* Collaborating with teachers to meet educational goals
* May involve 1:1 support or classroom-based assistance
Requirements:
* Maths & English GCSE (Grade C / Level 4 or above)
* Experience working with pupils with SEN and challenging behaviour (preferred)
* Empathetic, fun, patient and collaborative nature
Eligibility:
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (or willing to apply)
* Two childcare or education-related references
