Role Overview
An award-winning Premium Nutrition Brand are currently looking to appoint an experienced UK Sales Manager to their rapidly growing team based in Central London (South Bank). You will be responsible for overseeing and developing relationships with national grocers and retailers in the UK in order to drive company revenue.
As UK Sales Manager you will be expected to establish best working practices, refine the commercial portfolio to maximise gross profit and to work closely with the marketing team to ensure that initiatives are aligned.
Key Responsibilities:
* Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
* Prospect and contact potential customers.
* Reach agreed upon sales targets.
* Effectively account-manage existing customers, working closely with the marketing team.
* Accurately forecast future sales and develop sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the market-place.
* Analyse sales statistics and track trends to identify areas of improvement.
* Advise on New Product Development (NPD).
Experience Required:
* 5+ years Sales / National Account Management experience within the FMCG sector.
* A proven track record developing business relationships with the leading grocers (Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys, Morrisons) and health retailers.
* Commercial and Strategic sales mindset.
* Understanding of key buying cycles.
* Extensive network of contacts in UK retail.
* Familiarity with CRM platforms.
* Strong communicator at all levels.
