CleanEarth are looking for a motivated and organised Project Engineer to work on our upcoming wind farm projects.
Role Description
Sitting in the technical team, the Project Engineer will provide high quality engineering support to projects in the Development, Construction and Operational phases.
Responsibilities
* Production of optimised wind farm site layout drawings, access modifications, swept path analysis, legal and planning drawings
* Estimating and tracking project costs, aiming to reduce cost through design
* Assisting with projects in development and under construction, striving to achieve the Highest Health, Safety and Quality standards
* Identifying and reducing risk through design, ensuring projects under development are both practically and financially feasible
* Provision of technical input to early stage and pre‑planning projects
* Procurement and coordination of 3rd party technical services
* Support wider improvement/development of CleanEarth design processes and procedures
* Highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Vehicle Tracking software
* Basic knowledge of onshore wind development and construction processes
* Methodical, accurate and detail‑focused approach
* Awareness of CDM regulations
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Self‑motivated with the ability to prioritise and manage a demanding workload
* Flexibility to visit our sites throughout the UK
Desired Skills
* In depth knowledge of transport and construction methods as they relate to onshore wind projects
* Familiarity with wind farm BoP (Balance of Plant) and TSA (turbine supply agreement) contracts
* Civil3D and Infraworks proficiency
* Surveying/setting out experience
