A well-established UK law firm with headquarters in Scotland is seeking an experienced legal professional to join its risk and compliance team. This permanent position is based in Edinburgh and offers full-time hours, though part-time arrangements may be considered.
The successful candidate will work closely with the firm’s General Counsel and contribute to a broad range of compliance and governance matters. The role involves advising on client engagement terms, managing conflict checks, reviewing supplier contracts, drafting internal policies, and delivering training across the firm. Day-to-day, the position supports teams with queries related to professional standards, regulatory obligations, and ethical practices.
Applicants should be qualified solicitors in either Scotland or England & Wales, with a strong background in legal risk and compliance—ideally within a law firm or regulatory setting. Excellent communication, drafting, and organisational skills are essential, and experience in training delivery is a plus.
