Role Overview
Are you a hard-working, experienced clinician, looking for a new challenge?
Do you want to develop your leadership skills?
We are looking to recruit for a part-time Deputy Clinical Team Manager to join the Vale of White Horse Mental Health Support Team. You will be based in Oxford, but expected to cover geographical areas which include Faringdon, Wantage & Abingdon.
We are undergoing CAMHS transformation work, combining Getting Help and MHST to form a comprehensive CAMHS early intervention service in Oxfordshire.
You could be an RMN, Social Worker, OT, Clinical Psychologist, Family Therapist or Psychotherapist; you would be supporting the Clinical Team Manager by undertaking clinical and operational duties to ensure that we continue to deliver a high quality service.
In 2017 the Government proposal for transforming children and young people’s mental health aimed to expand access to mental health care for children & young people - setting up the new Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) to be based in schools & colleges.
The MHSTs are managed through the CAMHS service to provide ‘getting help’ as identified within the iThrive model of CAMHS. Developing MHSTs are a key part of Oxford Health’s Long-Term Plan for Children & Young People.
If you're a hardworking team player and a keen problem solver, this is the role for you. We're looking for someone who has a keen interest in service development, to build on and improve the outcomes for our children and young people.
