Deputy Home Manager
Location: BAMBER BRIDGE/SOUTH RIBBLE/PRESTON
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Salary: £33,540 per annum (£15.90-£16.20)

About the Role
Join a respected care provider as a Deputy Home Manager and help launch a brand-new residential service for adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and complex needs. You'll lead a passionate team, deliver person-centred care, and empower residents to live independently.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop staff through supervision, coaching, and induction
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and maintain high-quality care
Promote independence, dignity, and choice for residents
Implement the Mental Capacity Act (2005) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (2008)
Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and stakeholders
Oversee staff performance, training, and policy compliance
Participate in the on-call leadership rota
About You
Essential:
Experience managing or working in a residential care service
Knowledge of CQC standards and inspections
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
Strong communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licenceDesirable:
Experience supporting adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities, or complex needs
Safeguarding knowledge and investigative experience
