The role

provides an excellent range of work for someone with a background in tax compliance wishing to broaden their experience with a dedicated "private client" firm with a diverse client base.

You

Key characteristics and skills required:
1. Self-motivated, committed, and flexible team player, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and the ability to work with stretching targets and deadlines.
2. Experience in running the day-to-day compliance affairs of a portfolio of clients reporting to a portfolio manager
3. Experience of supporting the delivery of ad hoc advisory work connected to the client
4. The ability to use their own initiative and to problem solve
5. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and provide accurate work in a timely and cost-effective manner.
6. Confident communicator to liaise with the client, intermediaries and other internal departments to gather the clients tax return information to complete their annual return
7. Excellent IT skills
8. Candidates must be educated to at least ‘A' level standard and ideally graduate level. He/she should have obtained the CTA qualification.

The team

The Tax Services Group (TSG) consists of over 60 employees spread over four UK offices (Bristol, Bournemouth, High Wycombe, and Peterborough). The team delivers exceptional quality compliance and advisory services to a wide range of high net worth private clients, these include those with UK and offshore interests, property owners, business owners, partnerships and trusts.

Reward and benefits
9. A 35-hour working week with a hybrid working policy with the flexibility to work from home for up to three days per week (our core hours are 10-4)
10. Excellent benefits including contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave, Life Assurance cover and great flexible benefits and family friendly policies,
11. Eligibility for the firm's Profit-Sharing Plan. Paid in December.
12. Paid overtime or time off in lieu.
