Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Trumpf Punch Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate Trumpf punch machines, ensuring high-quality production of metal parts and components. Responsibilities include setting up, operating, maintaining machinery, adhering to safety standards, and meeting production schedules.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate Trumpf punch machines according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment, tooling, and settings.
2. Material Handling: Load sheet metal into the punch press and manage material feeding.
3. Quality Control: Inspect parts for accuracy and surface quality using measuring tools.
4. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshoot issues.
5. Production Efficiency: Monitor and adjust the process to ensure schedules are met.
6. Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
7. Documentation: Complete logs and maintenance records.
8. Collaboration: Work with team members and supervisors to meet goals.
9. Tooling Management: Change and maintain punch tools and dies.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Experience operating Trumpf punch presses or similar CNC punch machines.
* Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, machine setup, and operation.
* Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
* Familiarity with measurement tools for quality checks.
* Strong troubleshooting skills.
* Attention to detail and quality standards.
* Good communication skills and team spirit.
* Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is a plus.
