About MYSHON
We're a forward-thinking housing provider supporting vulnerable adults—including those with mental health challenges, learning difficulties, addiction issues, and physical disabilities. Our mission is to promote independent living within domestic, community-based settings tailored to individual needs.
We work in partnership with Care Providers and external agencies to help our tenants maintain tenancies, manage daily activities, and improve wellbeing—ensuring every individual is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
What You'll Do
As a Housing Support Officer, you'll provide essential day-to-day support to individuals, helping them live independently and safely. You'll:
* Deliver tailored support with daily tasks, budgeting, medication prompts, and attending appointments
* Work with external professionals and support networks
* Identify safeguarding concerns and escalate appropriately
* Promote clean, safe, and welcoming living environments
* Complete property inspections, maintenance requests, and tenant move-ins
* Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and data protection
* Help manage disputes or tenancy issues, working alongside the housing manager and relevant agencies
* Maintain accurate documentation and reports
* Participate in ongoing training, meetings, and service improvement
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone proactive, compassionate, and committed to making a difference.
Essential requirements:
* Full UK driving licence (required)
* Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and listening
* Basic IT skills – Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Experience working with vulnerable adults
* Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
