Join Castore as Deputy Manager - Dual Site. The role focuses on leading the store team to deliver Castore's customer and brand vision, ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything we do.
Responsibilities
* Guide and coach the team to inspire a customer-first approach.
* Ensure the floor team is set up operationally to deliver the best customer experience and maximise sales.
* Provide the right training to deliver service expectations and manage performance in the moment with regular feedback.
* React to a constantly changing retail environment, driving service in the moment and responding to customer needs.
Driving Results
* Service is the primary KPI; exploit opportunities to ensure customers are delighted with interactions.
* Work with the store team to ensure smooth stock flow, returns processing, and achievement of All Sizes Out targets.
* Provide training to deliver service expectations and manage performance with regular feedback.
Operational
* Adhere to company policies and maintain up-to-date team documentation in line with procedures and legal requirements.
* Support HR documentation to help retail leadership manage team issues.
* Manage administrative and back-of-house operations including cash handling and delivery paperwork.
* Ensure H&S policies are followed and escalate issues to Head Office within required timeframes.
Commercial
* Work towards Sales Plans and KPI targets with a service-focused approach.
* Build an excellent team capable of delivering customer-focused results by setting clear objectives.
* Maintain strong knowledge of the marketplace and competition to inform commercial decisions.
* Embrace ideas to increase sales and contribute to business solutions.
Future Focus
* Identify opportunities to improve and encourage the team to try new ideas to drive the business forward.
* Support multi-channel development and understand its commercial impact.
Skills & Qualities
* Ideally have worked in a supervisory or management role in a customer-facing environment
* Retail exposure beneficial
* Ability to thrive in a sales-targeted environment
