The Opportunity This role is a permanent, part-time; annualised hours contract where there is the opportunity to work 8 hours per week. This can be discussed as part of your initial application. This position is an amazing opportunity for someone who is looking for flexibility in their working life. What you’ll be doing Step into a role where you'll be the welcoming face and clear voice of our station—sharing insights, leading engaging tours, and connecting with groups from all walks of life, including the public, organisations, businesses, and educational institutions. We're looking for someone who thrives on quick thinking, carries themselves with warmth and confidence, and embraces every element of the role with enthusiasm. As our new Station Guide, you'll take charge of ensuring every visitor experiences a safe and memorable journey, both onsite and at external events. From guiding schoolchildren through hands-on learning activities to delivering compelling presentations to business leaders and university audiences, you'll bring energy and clarity to every interaction. You'll build lasting connections with both internal teams and external communities, all while working closely with our Visitor Centre Co-ordinator to champion EDF’s values and strengthen our reputation across the region.
