This role is ideal for a skilled Electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician with experience in chemical or manufacturing environments. It suits someone with a time-served electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems, and hands-on experience with pump, valve, and pipework repairs. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset are essential. Atex/CompEx experience is desirable
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical (single/3-phase) and mechanical systems, including pumps and pipework.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, such as ATEX inspections, PAT testing, and safety checks.
* Contribute to process safety management, including SIL checks and hazardous area equipment inspections.
* Identify opportunities for operational improvement and assist with implementing modifications.
* Support a culture of safety, professionalism, and excellence in maintenance operations.
