Estates Services Technician (Electrical) – NHS AfC: Band 5 – Permanent, Full time (37.5 hours/week, on call supplement). Salary £32,073 – £39,043 per annum (RPP). Job ref 311‑H918‑26. Closing: 10/05/2026 23:59.
Overview
Provide a comprehensive and responsive multi‑skilled maintenance service across all the Trust’s properties, specialising and leading in the delivery of quality electrical services for inpatient and non‑in‑patient environments. The postholder will be based within the Compliance team and is expected to lead complex electrical diagnoses and repairs across the Trust’s plant and equipment, advising on any risks or issues.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead complex electrical diagnoses and repairs across Trust assets.
* Deliver a comprehensive, multi‑skilled maintenance service, including minor joinery and plumbing duties.
* Support the delivery of a quality estates function.
* Train and mentor new apprentices and T‑level students in electrical services.
* Travel across the Trust’s footprint and work on site as required to meet service needs.
* Participate in the estates on‑call service.
Person Specification
* Apprenticeship or equivalent.
* Experience of HTM’s (High‑Tension Materials).
* Multi‑skilled experience in maintenance environments.
* Hospital experience.
