HR Generalist Job Description
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an HR Generalist to provide key local HR support for our production site in Campsie, supporting Operational Managers on all aspects of their people strategy. You will be a key member of the HR team supporting large-scale Manufacturing Operations in Ireland. The role involves supporting managers with a primary focus on monitoring and providing headcount data across the site to meet business demand and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
1. Utilize HR and other business systems to build and report on employee KPIs, enabling fact-based decision-making.
2. Monitor HR data for accuracy and quality management.
3. Provide HR advice, guidance, and support to management and staff in line with company policy and employment legislation.
4. Assist with HR systems integration and change management initiatives.
5. Support managers in staff management and achievement of objectives.
6. Drive HR-related business initiatives and improvements.
7. Identify and evaluate development needs within the business.
8. Assist in developing departmental development plans.
9. Implement and monitor HR procedures and compliance.
10. Work with recruitment providers and hiring managers to recruit qualified candidates.
11. Resolve HR issues efficiently and cost-effectively.
12. Perform general HR administration and maintain personnel records.
13. Provide data to Payroll for accurate monthly payroll processing.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years' experience in an HR-related role with employee relations expertise.
* HR or relevant degree is advantageous.
* Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion, HCM, and ORC is advantageous.
* Proficiency in HR databases and MS Office applications.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical & Environmental Demands
Presence on a manufacturing site required, with adherence to PPE and EHS policies.
Travel
Up to 10% travel to other sites in Ireland (Burnfoot or Letterkenny).
