 
        About the role: You will support pupils with additional educational, social, emotional or behavioural needs under the direction of the SENDCo, class teacher and other staff. Key responsibilities include working 1:1 and in small groups, helping to plan and modify resources, maintaining records, motivating learners and fostering inclusion across the school. You will have: GCSEs in English and Maths (A*C/4) 5 years experience supporting children with special educational needs (eg ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism) Excellent communication and teamwork skills; calm, flexible and resourceful Ability to show patience and initiative when working with children facing learning/behavioural challenges Basic IT literacy and a commitment to ongoing professional development We welcome you if you: Are personable, courteous, trustworthy and a strong role model Have worked as a Learning Support Assistant in a school setting (ideally secondary or upperKS2) Thrive working collaboratively with teachers, SENDCO, outside agencies and wider school staff Want to help make a positive difference to childrens development and well-being Why Horizon Teachers?
