Your Role
Are you passionate about creating safe and compliant work environments? Join our team as a Health and Safety Practitioner and collaborate with our Health and Safety Manager to deliver a commercially-aware, focused, and business-minded health and safety service.
As a Health and Safety Practitioner you will conduct accident and incident investigations, manage actions, and ensure thorough follow-up. Additionally, you will perform property inspections and compliance monitoring to maintain high safety standards. You will support the review and development of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Providing expert advice and support to the Group, you will ensure all health and safety risks are identified, assessed, and managed in line with UK legislative requirements, best practices, and our Group’s values. Engaging with stakeholders regularly, you will reinforce their roles and responsibilities in health and safety within their business streams.
This is a full time, permanent role, working 36.25 hours per week.
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the ability to work effectively at all levels across the organisation. You should possess a sound understanding of Health and Safety legislation and be able to apply it efficiently and succinctly.
Effective time management skills are essential to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Additionally, you should have a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
