Fresh from securing three offers on BBC Dragons’ Den, we’re on an exciting growth journey — scaling from a £7m brand today towards £50m+ in the years ahead, with 230% year-on-year growth already underway. The Role

We’re looking for a Creative Lead to shape and scale the visual world of Mother Root. You’ll define how the brand looks, feels and expresses itself across every touchpoint - from packaging to paid ads, from TikTok to retail, from campaigns to the inbox experience. You’ll be the creative heart of the brand: a thinker, a maker, a system-builder, and a partner to the Founder, Editorial Lead and Growth team. This is not a narrow execution role. It’s a chance to build the creative engine of one of the UK’s fastest-growing drinks brands. We are entering a major growth phase — retail and international expansion, a refreshed brand identity, and a growing media presence. This hire will define how the brand expresses itself as we scale from scale-up to iconic category leader.


What You’ll Do

* Evolve and steward the Mother Root brand identity, visual world and creative platform
* Build the creative operating system: guidelines, templates, toolkits and asset libraries
* Lead campaign ideas and storytelling across digital, retail, OOH and experiential channels
* Translate brand strategy and insight into distinctive, high-impact creative concepts
* Direct art direction, shoots, creators, designers and production partners end to end
* Uphold creative quality across content, campaigns, packaging, retail and performance
* Partner with Growth to develop performance-led creative that stays true to the brand
* Guide social-first content and creator systems across TikTok, Instagram and emerging platforms
* Shape physical brand expression in-store, on-shelf, packaging, events and IRL activations
* Lead creative budgeting, costed options and efficient production planning (good/better/best)


What You’ll Bring

* A track record of delivering high-quality creative in fast-paced, high-growth consumer brands
* You have demonstrable experience building or evolving creative for a modern consumer brand
* Significant experience leading creative across a wide range of channels, including: Brand, Packaging, Content, Performance, Retail, PR, IRL and Campaigns
* You have exceptional taste - warm, bold, human - and can articulate why creative works
* Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to turn insight and strategy into standout creative
* Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (founders, growth, brand, social, ops)
* Demonstrated ability to build and scale creative systems, guidelines and toolkits
* You understand performance and how creative drives CAC and other KPI’s
* Hands-on art direction experience across shoots, content, and production partners
* You care about building a brand with feeling, not just assets
* Previous team management experience would be advantageous as the team may expand in the future
