Internationally successful: The Wienerberger Group Come and join us as a Production Manager at our Goxhill site in North Lincolnshire About the Role As Production Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will provide strong and effective leadership, managing the production activities of your department, leading by example, and driving health, safety, and environmental best practice. You will play a key role in driving and implementing process improvement and product cost improvement projects to help optimise the factory. Duties are varied and include: Ensure effective manufacturing operations which produce to target volumes, yield and efficiency Deliver operational transformation and culture change Collate and analyse production data to identify and drive opportunities to improve OEE Measure/evaluate results of improvement actions and cost gains/return in performance against investment Use problem solving techniques and tools (RCA, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc ) to identify and resolve any manufacturing issues Perform and review Risk Assessments and develop Safe working procedures Work closely with quality and maintenance departments to support a collaborative culture Identify training requirements of staff Investigate any accidents, injuries or near misses Ensure that HR policies and procedures are followed Hours of Work: 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday About You You will be an experienced production manager who has delivered results in a high-volume production environment (such as heavy industry, automotive, food or FMCG) Health and safety is a top priority for us, so you will have strong experience promoting a safe working culture.
