The Local Governing Body are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced, committed and highly motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning and to assist a teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom and the development and education of pupils including the provision of specialist skills as appropriate. We are looking for someone who: Is committed to enhancing the Catholic life and mission of the school. Holds a NVQ 2 or required to work towards it. Has full working knowledge of the foundation/national curriculum and other learning programmes and strategies. Is passionate about teaching and learning. Can confidently plans schemes of work, deliver high quality lessons, and assess all subjects taught. Understanding of the principles of child development and learning processes. Has a positive outlook and an ability to work with other professionals. Has experience of working with children who have additional needs such as SEND. Able to follow school policies and procedures related to H&S, behaviour, attendance, equal opportunities and child protection.
