Your newpanyYou will be working with an ever-growing manufacturingpany that is looking to strengthen their procurement team. Based in North Staffordshire. You will join a busy team that supports the whole of the business.
Your new role
1. You will work with internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement needs are met.
2. To be involved with continuous improvement strategies of the business
3. You will be able topetently analyse data related to supply chain risks.
4. Have the ability to negotiate with suppliers to support business needs
5. Have the ability to resolve issues including nonpliance.
6. To have the prerequisite excel and reporting skills to run and report on varying cost reports, including invoice reporting, database updates and legislative reporting
What you'll need to succeed
7. A data-driven approach to work
8. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work under pressure
10. Proficiency in IT systems, with strong Excel skills
11. Effectivemunication skills to engage with internal teams and external suppliers.
12. Experience in supply chain and procurement
13. Knowledge of sustainability metrics and methodologies, such as carbon foot printing and life cycle assessment.
14. Minimum: Degree or equivalent qualification.
15. Previous experience in a procurement, supply chain, or purchasing role is desirable but not essential.
