Payroll Implementation Partner – Fixed Term Contract

Maternity Cover 15/06/2026 - 16/07/2027

Our payroll team are integral to enabling an accurate and timely payroll service for our clients. As a Payroll Implementation Partner, you will provide specialist administrative support to expedite the onboarding of new payroll customers. Using system generated reports you will analyse data, identify required changes and process payroll data for an initial period prior to handing over to one of your Payroll Executive teammates.

This role is offered on a fixed‑term basis to provide maternity cover within the Payroll Implementation team. The role is focused on delivering payroll implementation activities during a period of temporary resource requirement and is not intended as a long‑term BAU position.


Accountabilities/Responsibilities

* Liaise with clients setting out full implementation timescales and requirements
* Run a full and comprehensive parallel payroll
* Migrate data from customers’ existing payroll providers
* Demo the payroll system and advise on client best practice
* Provide an analytical interpretation of payroll data
* Carry out initial reviews on reports for data quality
* Run and collate reports that support ongoing data integrity
* Support clients with pay related queries
* Process all payments and deductions in line with UK statutory requirements
* Varying project‑based activities to help grow and develop our business.


Experience and Skills

Must have

* Expert level in MS Excel
* Experience working in a fast paced payroll environment
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues
* Knowledge and experience of HR/Payroll regulatory requirements and compliance

Nice to have

* Knowledge of Paycircle
* Knowledge of the UK hospitality industry


Location and Working Pattern

This role is hybrid with an expectation of 3 days per week in our Coleshill office. During the onboarding period you will spend more time in the office to build product knowledge and connect with the Bureau team.
