Primary Liaison Coordinator / Pastoral Assistant

Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Assistant Headteacher (responsible for Primary Liaison) to promote effective communication with all partner primary schools.
* Ensure a smooth transition from Year 6 to Year 7 to enable sustained student progress.
* Visit feeder schools and undertake home visits as required (driving licence is required).
* Maintain strong organisational and interpersonal skills, and use literacy, numeracy and ICT skills (Microsoft Office & SIMS) effectively.
* Work to tight deadlines with a calm and tactful approach; demonstrate emotional resilience as part of the role.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience of working with children (11-16), preferably in a busy educational setting.
* Experience of dealing with external agencies is advantageous.
* A clean driving licence is required for visits to feeder schools and home visits.
