They are seeking a new Head of Finance to join a small but successful team and help continue the development of thepany.
Your new role
The Finance Manager will oversee all financial activities across the business and several revenue streams, ensuring financial integrity andpliance while driving strategic financial planning and analysis. This is a number 2 position within finance and will oversee all daily financial operations, reporting and continuous development of the finance function.
Your key responsibilities include:
1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse weekly and monthly reporting to provide robust information to the senior management team.
2. Overview of the year-end financial reporting process.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts, implementing a tracking of performance against financial targets.
4. Cost Management: Strong capability to analyse and control costs, identifying areas for improvement in operational efficiency and productivity.
5. Leadership & Team Management: Ability to build, lead, and mentor a finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
6. Risk Management: Identify financial risks and developing mitigation strategies to safeguardpany assets and maintain financial health.
7. Drive transformational change throughout the business, enabled by upgrading financial reporting and processes.
8. Track and monitor CAPEX spend across the business
9. Implement KPI metrics to drive a greater understanding of underlying business performance.
10. Ensuring AP and AR teams are working efficiently and control working capital
11. Assist in financial modelling and analysing strategic decisions from a finance perspective.
12. Manage key stakeholder and external supplier relationships for the benefit and delivery of accurate financial reporting.
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, but an exact working pattern can be flexible for the right candidate. This role offers some hybrid working 1–2 days per week.
