Investment Banking Analyst
We are currently working with a leading investment bank that is seeking Analysts to join their high-performing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in M&A transactions, capital raising, and strategic advisory in the energy sector.
As an Analyst, you will play a key role in executing transactions, conducting financial analysis, and supporting senior bankers in delivering high-quality advisory services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the execution of M&A transactions, capital raises, and other corporate finance engagements.
* Performing in-depth financial analysis, including financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence.
* Preparing client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation.
* Conducting industry and company research to identify trends and opportunities.
* Supporting senior team members in managing client relationships and deal execution.
* Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
* 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience in M&A, capital raising, financial advisory, or transaction services preferred.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts.
* ACA qualified preferred
* A strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related discipline.
* Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Can come from an M&A team within a big 4 accounting firm, mid market boutique, or investment bank.
