Position: Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care
Location: Devon
Pay: £14 to £15.20 per hour
Shift Pattern: Days and nights
Responsibilities
The role includes
* Assisted cough and bespoke moving and handling procedures
* Bladder washouts via syringe
* Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) – personal care, mobility assistance, medication administration, oral nutrition and meal preparation
* Ongoing clinical observations
* Responding to complex clinical needs while maintaining dignity and independence
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven track record of delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care
* Experience in bowel care, clinical observations, medication support, food preparation, bladder washouts, assisted cough, moving and handling, autonomic dysreflexia
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* All candidates must be drivers
