Do you have first-class administration experience, some exposure to sales, and enjoy working as part of a team? This highly regarded publishing organisation based in Cambridge is looking to appoint a Sales & Customer Services Administrator for their Sales & Subscriptions department on a 12-month fixed term contract, 2 days a week. Working days will be Tuesday plus 1 other day. You will be the first point of contact with customers and will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing the needs and expectations of customers with tact and diplomacy
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to co-ordinate multiple activities successfully
• Updating of customer accounts on the subscription system and the online access system
• Permissions – To answer client enquiries, manage CCC (our permissions agent) monitor charges
• General administration support including email
The successful person will have solid admin skills, ideally with some sales experience, a proactive and flexible approach to your work, while having great attention to detail. Professional, discrete, and trustworthy, you will be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work in a busy environment meeting deadlines are essential.
You will also be experienced using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Some experience of working within academic publishing would be highly desirable, but is not an essential requirement.
