The Opportunity
The firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Partner to join its dispute resolution team as part of a planned expansion of its commercial disputes offering.
This appointment represents a key strategic hire and offers the opportunity to play a central role in strengthening and growing an established commercial litigation practice. You will work closely with partners across corporate, real estate, finance and restructuring to deliver integrated advice to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
As a senior member of the disputes practice, you will be responsible for:
* Leading, developing and expanding the commercial litigation practice
* Advising on complex, high value disputes for corporate, investor and private clients
* Acting on a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including:
* Contractual and commercial disputes
* Shareholder and partnership disputes
* Fraud and contentious insolvency
* IP and technology‑related disputes
* Driving business development, strengthening client relationships and generating new work
* Supporting cross‑selling and collaboration across practice groups
* Mentoring and developing junior lawyers
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Proven experience as a commercial litigation partner or senior associate ready for partnership
* Strong technical litigation expertise and strategic advisory capability
* A track record of winning and leading significant mandates
* Commercial acumen and a network of potential clients and referrers
* An entrepreneurial mindset and ambition to build a distinctive disputes practice within a collaborative firm
