Founded in 1842, our Sheffield Plant, makes iconic brands including Liquorice Allsorts, Maynard Bassetts, Sour Patch Kids and Trebor Mints. Mondelez Sheffield is a traditional manufacturing site that has been in its current location on the side of the River Don in Hillsborough for over 100 years. The site has a long heritage but uses the most advanced techniques to make Liquorice, Jellies and Mints, which have been enjoyed for generations. We're looking for an energetic and committed Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join our iconic Plant. In this hands-on role, you'll drive the implementation of our Environmental and Safety Management Systems and play a key part in embedding world-class HSE standards across the site. How you will contribute You will: Coordinate Health & Safety programs and core site processes. Lead and support investigations, ensuring effective closure of non-conformances. Provide HSE expertise for new projects and change management activities. Drive root-cause analysis and develop systems that prevent recurrence. Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE regulations, standards and company policies. Oversee risk assessments and ensure actions are implemented to protect employees, contractors, visitors and the environment. Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Ensure site standards meet both company expectations and external regulatory requirements. What you will bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following: Strong experience within Health and Safety within the FMCG or Consumer Goods or wider manufacturing industry Experience with LOTO procedures and machine guarding NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent Following of regulatory reports and compliances including experience with ISO Standards Experience of risk assessment writing Well-organized, detail-oriented, with strong prioritization skills.
