About the role
The company is a leading manufacturer of mobility and medical products seeking to recruit a Territory Sales Manager for the North of England. The main responsibility of the role is to coordinate the implementation of the company's sales and marketing plans in the assigned area.
Responsibilities / Duties
1. Proactively develop territorial business plans for acquiring new clients and retaining existing ones.
2. Implement new business initiatives to drive sales.
3. Collaborate with existing clients to generate new business.
4. Identify sales opportunities arising from market changes.
5. Negotiate sales contracts.
6. Work with the marketing team to create marketing materials supporting new business.
7. Maintain records of sales activities and report regularly.
8. Communicate new product information to clients.
Key Skills
* Experience in B2B and/or B2C sales/business development.
* Experience in mobility, medical equipment, health, or fire and safety industries.
* Proven ability to generate new business and revenue growth.
* Target-driven with strong relationship-building and networking skills.
* Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Strong IT skills.
* Experience in direct and indirect/channel sales.
* Full, clean driving license and ability to travel, including overnight stays.
Additional Details
* Role is dayshift, 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday.
* Salary up to £51k per annum (OTE).
* Location: North of England, ideal for candidates based in Lancashire, Yorkshire, Westmorland, Cumberland, Durham, or Northumberland.
