Working Hours: 40 per week
Week 1 – 0730 to 1630 Monday to Friday
Week 2 – 1545 to 0045 Sunday and 1630 to 0130 Monday to Thursday
About the role:
As a production operative in Post Chill, you’ll be involved in the production and packaging of raw food products. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.
Duties include:
1. Weigh and label products in steel bins ensuring that they are sealed and covered
2. Maintain safe operation of pallet trucks
3. Transport products to dispatch as required
4. Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg
What are we looking for?
1. Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
2. The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
3. Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
4. Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
