Overview
As a Ward Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of a ward. You will act as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, helping to ensure the smooth running of the ward environment.
Responsibilities
* Greeting patients, visitors and staff
* Updating Oceano system with admissions/transfers/discharges
* Booking appointments
* Liaising with staff/relatives
* Answering phones and buzzers
* Lifting and carrying patient notes
* Filing notes
* Requesting and booking outpatient notes via Case note tracking
Qualifications & Skills
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
* A friendly and professional manner
* Previous administrative or clerical experience (desirable, but not essential)
