Overview
We are looking for Support Workers to provide valuable and caring support to adults with learning disabilities. This particular role is based in Milton supporting a young man. Read about him in his own words below,
Responsibilities
* To provide person-centred support to the people who use our services.
* To follow the support plans of the people we support and any other relevant documentation
* To support all people in line with their individual communication needs
* Assist with daily activities, which may include medication administration, and personal hygiene.
* Maintain open communication with the people we support, their families and within the staffing team to ensure needs are met effectively. A nurturing, supportive and patient approach
* Strong communication skills, being able to pick up on both verbal and non-verbal cues
* Shifts can either be long or short day shifts, possibly sleep ins and will involve every other weekend.
* You need to hold a full UK driving licence.
