Account Manager role that focuses on credit control, debt collection, and relationship management.
The Role
You’ll manage a portfolio of accounts, working closely with customers and internal teams to reduce overdue balances, minimise losses and support the growth of the credit programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage delinquent accounts and resolve outstanding balances
* Confidently handle difficult phone conversations with customers
* Negotiate partial and extended payment arrangements
* Build strong relationships with field and sales teams
* Track performance, provide forecasts and support monthly planning
* Promote and support credit programmes across the business
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in Credit Control / Debt Collections (Financial Services or similar)
* Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
* Organised and able to manage multiple accounts
* Self‑motivated, positive and results‑driven
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
Qualifications
5 GCSEs (or equivalent) or 2–4 years’ relevant experience.
