Senior Power Platform Functional Consultant

We’re working with a leading Microsoft Partner delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Azure. They are looking for a Senior / Lead Functional Consultant with expertise in configurations and customisations.
The Role
Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to design and build high-quality Power Platform solutions. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on functional design, configuration, and customisation, alongside leading workshops and supporting successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions
* Translate business requirements into functional designs and user stories
* Deliver hands-on configuration and customisation across the Power Platform, including: Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps and Power Pages (a big plus)
* Work extensively with Dataverse, including data modelling and security configuration
* Support solution design in collaboration with architects (ALM, environments, release processes)
* Contribute to integration design and implementation (connectors, APIs, data flows)
* Ensure solutions follow best practices, standards, and governance frameworks
* Work closely with developers and wider teams to ensure quality delivery
* Support testing, training, and user adoption across business stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
* Strong experience delivering Power Platform solutions in a Functional Consultant capacity
* Deep hands-on expertise in configuration and customisation
* Proven experience building Canvas Apps
* Solid experience working with Dataverse (data modelling, relationships, security)
* Experience with Model-driven Apps
* Confident engaging stakeholders and running workshops
* Strong understanding of end-to-end delivery lifecycle within Power Platform projects
Nice to Have
* Experience with Copilot (Copilot Studio, Power Platform Copilot, AI-enabled solutions)
* Experience with Power Pages
* Active SC Clearance
* Experience working within the public sector
