Goodwood Home Farm is at the heart of our estate, producing high-quality, sustainable food with true provenance.
We’re looking for a Farm Food Sales & Distribution Manager to drive the growth of our wholesale and retail operation. This is a dynamic and hands‑on role, combining sales, account management, and logistics, where you’ll play a key part in expanding our customer base and ensuring our products reach customers efficiently.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll take the lead on developing sales and strengthening customer relationships, including:
* Growing wholesale and Farm Shop retail sales
* Managing and developing existing customer accounts
* Identifying and securing new business opportunities
* Maintaining strong customer communications and follow-up activity
* Supporting product development, merchandising, and retail performance
Alongside this, you’ll oversee key operational areas:
* Managing delivery logistics and leading the delivery team
* Reviewing and improving delivery routes for efficiency and profitability
* Taking ownership of milk vending operations and future expansion
* Supporting accurate order processing, reporting, and revenue tracking
* Producing regular sales reports and performance insights
* Ensuring compliance with traceability and legislative requirements
You’ll also support the wider team during peak times, events, and holidays, helping to keep everything running smoothly.
What you’ll bring
* Prior experience in sales, account management, retail, or customer service is desirable
* Confidence managing customer relationships and driving business growth
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to balance commercial thinking with operational delivery
* Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Excel, and relevant systems
* A proactive, hands‑on approach with a collaborative mindset
* Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships
* An interest in food, farming, or high-quality produce
