As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you’ll lead a diverse pipeline of strategic sourcing initiatives, playing a pivotal role in delivering commercial outcomes that support our business, our customers and our regulatory commitments.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Own and actively manage a strategic portfolio of sourcing activity
* Deliver high‑value sourcing initiatives on time, generating maximum value
* Lead complex commercial negotiations using best‑practice procurement methodologies
* Build a deep understanding of business needs in your spend areas and provide expert guidance
* Identify spend trends, risks and opportunities, using data and market intelligence to shape decisions
* Ensure systems and documentation support a clear, auditable process
* Build influential, trust‑based relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Support the Procurement Manager in team leadership and capability development
* Mentor and coach colleagues, helping to build future talent
* Appoint and onboard suppliers using appropriate sourcing frameworks
What You’ll Bring
* CIPS Level 5 or equivalent, or a qualification in procurement/commercial disciplines
* Knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 and relevant legislation
* Proven experience delivering complex strategic sourcing projects
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive best‑value outcomes
* Experience developing sourcing strategies and navigating governance
* Solid understanding of contract structures (NEC experience a plus)
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
* A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
