Blackmont Consulting is a student‑run organization established in 2020 that implements rigorous analysis to help firms achieve practical results with real impact. We are uncompromising in our approach to helping clients consistently make better decisions, deliver improved business performance, and create greater shareholder returns.
Role Overview
As a member of our consulting team, you’ll tackle real‑world business problems with 6‑to‑8 member teams. You’ll collaborate on challenging projects across sectors, gaining breadth and depth of experience across diverse business environments.
Responsibilities
* Market trends predictions and suggestions.
* Develop solutions for complex client situations to ensure meeting of goals and objectives and deliver results on time.
* Develop primary research sources among industry contacts, customers, suppliers, and competitors of the companies you are researching.
* Understand sector, currency, political, and regulatory risks where applicable.
* Perform financial analysis and modeling of companies under your coverage.
* Analyze financial performance, returns on capital, and valuation.
* Determine, develop, and deliver innovative strategies and tools to target new and current clients.
* Take charge of identifying information sources, gathering, and interpreting data, executing analysis, and presenting findings to case team members and client stakeholders.

Requirements
* First, second, or final year undergraduate student; Master’s and PhD students also accepted.
* Ability to commit to the position for a minimum of three months.

The internship is non‑remunerated. Selected candidates must become members to support the organization via the website, covering costs for software programs and training. Blackmont is a non‑profit and does not charge clients, but covers its own costs.
The program is self‑paced, carried online, and open to students only. Previous work experience is advantageous but not essential.
