An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing contractor thats building a strong reputation in the social housing sector across North Yorkshire. As they continue to secure new projects, theyre now looking to appoint a Customer Liaison Officer to act as the key link between residents, the site team, and the client.
The Role:
As Customer Liaison Officer, youll play a vital role in ensuring tenants and residents are kept informed, supported, and satisfied throughout the delivery of new-build and refurbishment works. Youll be the face of the company on the ground resolving issues, communicating updates, and maintaining a high level of customer care.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for tenants during construction or refurbishment works
Provide clear and timely updates on works, schedules, and any disruptions
Coordinate access arrangements and ensure minimal disruption to residents
Log and resolve any complaints or concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
Work closely with site teams to ensure customer service standards are upheld
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for internal and client use
Attend meetings with clients, residents, and housing associations as required
Requirements:
Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within housing, construction, or repairs
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
Calm and approachable under pressure, with a professional attitude
Able to build trust with residents and manage sensitive conversations
Good IT skills for logging issues and reporting
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally across North Yorkshire
